Bim object for archicad8/24/2023 The feet are made of oak and can be ordered in a wide range of natural stains or vibrant colours like green or mango. However, the most characteristic element of Talo is in its feet that thrust up under the fabric, like the roots of a mangrove tree just visible above ground level as they form the trunk. No detail has been left to chance: from the extra thick piping that runs across the top of the piece to the special two part cushion. The roots of the mangrove tree have provided the starting point for this adaptable piece. The small two seater sofa combines perfectly with the armchair, emulating its comfort perfectly. Talo is extraordinarily comfortable, making it the ideal piece for a range of settings. Discreet and distinctive, the design is a departure from all others, yet retaining a familiar form. The result of Sancal’s first collaboration with Sebastian Herkner, Talo takes a new approach to the traditional small armchair – a must-have for any hotel.
